At StreamOS and AOG-Labs, your privacy is a priority. Our business model is based on providing a high-quality service, not on collecting or selling user data. We collect only the minimum amount of information necessary to provide, secure, and improve our services.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you register via Discord, we receive your Discord ID and email address to authenticate your session and manage your subscription.
  • StreamOS Credentials: We store your chosen username and a salted/hashed version of your password for your virtual OS login.
  • Service Data: We store the files you explicitly upload to your Virtual File System (VFS) and your system settings (themes, window positions) to ensure they are available when you log in.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly for:

  • Providing the virtual desktop environment.
  • Managing your storage quota and subscription tier.
  • Ensuring the security of your account and our infrastructure.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting at your request.

4. No Data Selling

AOG-Labs has never and will never sell, lease, or rent your personal data, files, or usage habits to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

Files and data are retained as long as your account is active. If you choose to delete a file within the StreamOS environment, it is permanently purged from our disks to free up your storage space. If an account is terminated for a breach of terms, data may be retained briefly for legal compliance before being purged.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use a minimal number of cookies strictly for the functionality of the Service.

  • Essential Cookies: These are required for authentication (logging you in via Discord and maintaining your session). Without these, the Service would not function.
  • Preference Cookies: These remember your virtual OS settings, such as your theme choice and window layout.
  • No Third-Party Tracking: We do not use advertising or tracking cookies from third-party networks.

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption of sensitive data and salted password hashing, to protect your information from unauthorized access.
